Alfil Logistics distributes ventilators and splitters to hospitals and ICUs

The manufacture of the ventilators and splitters by the Consorci de la Zona Franca alliance uses 3D printing

With the aim of offering all possible help to hospitals and intensive care units (ICUs) in these exceptional health circumstances, Alfil Logistics, with Correos and Grupo Social CARES, will begin to distribute, free of charge, ventilators and splitters which the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona alliance is manufacturing using 3D printing.

The design and components of these ventilators have been simplified as much as possible to create a strong, useful and less complex device that is easier to manufacture. Production will reach between 50 and 100 units per day next week.

Alfil Logistics has put various measures in place in all its facilities to ensure the health and safety of its workers and collaborators and to be able to continue working. These measures are:

    - Supplying personal protective equipment.
    -
Sanitisation of all surfaces in all facilities.
    -
Planning of shifts, including flexibility for family life and working from home, while ensuring a full service.
    -
Collaboration with carriers in the implementation of hygiene measures and the control of the spread of the virus.
    - Updating internal procedures and protocols.

All the Alfil Logistics team shows its support and collaboration in this unprecedented situation.
