The Damm Foundation joins the fight against Covid-19 in Mallorca

25,000 litres of Font Major mineral water and 18,000 litres of AGAMA milk have been distributed to social entities in Mallorca

The Damm Foundation has joined the fight against Covid-19 in Mallorca with the donation of 25,000 litres of Font Major mineral water and 18,000 litres of AGAMA milk to social entities on the island, helping to meet the basic water and milk needs of those who use their services.

Among the beneficiaries are the soup kitchens of the Caputxins church and the Associació Tardor in Palma, Aldeas Infantiles, the Associació Altruista Es Refugi, Associació Inca - Mallorca Solidària, Felanitx and Santanyí social services, the Fundació Goethe per les Illes and the Fundació Sant Joan de Déu Serveis Socials Mallorca.

The Damm Foundation has also been collaborating with community initiatives set up by various chefs and restaurants on the island, including L’Artista pizza restaurants, which are preparing and delivering food to soup kitchens, and to which the Foundation provides mineral water and milk. While the health crisis lasts, the Foundation will continue to supply water and milk to these organisations and will extend its support to social entities throughout the island.

This donation of water and milk to social entities in Mallorca is in addition to the initiatives that the Damm Foundation is carrying out throughout Spain, such as the donation of more than 150,000 litres of mineral water to health centres and hospitals in more than 20 provinces; the daily distribution of 4,000 sandwiches from the Rodilla restaurant chain to the elderly, health workers, people with special needs or drivers from the Empresa Municipal de Transportes public transport company in the Comunidad de Madrid; or the donation of 300 chairs and 30 tables to the Ajuntament de Barcelona city council to turn an empty building into a care home for the elderly, among other actions to support the community at this time.
