The Estrella Damm Old Brewery opens its doors to celebrate La Mercè

The Estrella Damm Old Brewery opens its doors to celebrate La Mercè

On Sunday 25 and Monday 26 September, Carrer Rosselló 515 will offer a full programme with live music, DJs, gastronomy and activities for all audiences

Next 25 and 26 September, the Estrella Damm Old Brewery will once again become one of the focal points of the Festes de la Mercè Festival, with a full programme for all ages combining live concerts, DJs, activities for all the family and a wide range of gastronomic offerings.

As is now tradition at this time of year, Carrer Rosselló 515 will be one of the venues for BAM Barcelona Acció Musical and will host performances by new talents, as well as the most eclectic musical proposals from our city.

Complementing the live performances, music will continue to be played between concerts, and gastronomy will be another of the highlights of this year's Mercè. All those who visit the Old Brewery will be able to enjoy the food trucks of Fileteando, Hamburguesa Nostra, Indi Food Truck, Las Muns, María una Crep, Pepitu, Retruc and The Fish & Chips Shop, which will offer a wide variety of gastronomic proposals for all tastes to accompany Damm beers at any time of the day.

MAC Festival: Street arts for all ages

The area around the Old Brewery will also be filled with the joyful and festive spirit of La Mercè, thanks to the dance, circus and games shows of the MAC Festival. Its programme, designed for all audiences, will offer a multidisciplinary range of street arts and will appeal to joy, diversity of cultures, integration and parity.

This year, La Mercè returns to the format it had before the pandemic and can be enjoyed without capacity limitations. Entrance to the concerts at the Estrella Damm Old Brewery will be free of charge until the venue's capacity is reached.

The Estrella Damm Old Brewery programme will be preceded by two nights of concerts on the Mediterràniament stage, which this year will once again be located on Bogatell Beach. On Friday 23 September, the Barcelona beach will vibrate with the sounds of urban music by 31FAM, Alizz and Santa Salut, while on Saturday 24 it will be the turn of the festive music of Marcel i Júlia, Els Catarres and Delafé y las Flores Azules.
