Estrella de Levante presents the new events to be held in 'Sala de Catas' (Tasting Hall)

‘Sala de Tapas’ (Tapas Hall) and ‘Beer Sessions’ are the two new events being presented by the Murcian brewery in 2023. Furthermore, the space will provide continuity for events such as ‘Sala de Chefs’ (Chef's Hall) and the ‘Sala de Catas’ (Tasting Hall) podcast

Estrella de Levante announces the new cultural and gastronomic events to be held this year in the ‘Sala de Catas’. This place, located in the interior of its Espinardo factory, will host new events such as ‘Beer Sessions’ or ‘Sala de Tapas’, in addition to providing continuity for events like ‘Sala de Chefs’, the cycle of dinners offered by distinguished chefs from Levante; and the ‘Sala de Catas’ podcast, presented and directed by journalist and writer, Leonardo Cano, in coordination with the C`Mon Murcia website.

Yayo Delgado, in charge of Communication and External Relations for Estrella de Levante, has presented two new events that will revitalize the Sala de Catas agenda this new season. "Following the great reception that Sala de Catas enjoyed in 2022, which was visited by over twenty thousand people, we want to continue offering different entertainment options that are linked to learning about, and enjoying, the brewery culture", said Delgado.        

In this manner, one of the new activities this season will be ‘Beer Sessions’, to be held one to two Fridays a month, from 14:30 to 16:30. During these events, attendees will enjoy a beer tasting run by Ángela Marulanda, beer sommelier from Estrella de Levante, where they will discover the different varieties created by the brand, accompanied by the traditional Murcian appetizer. In addition, there will be DJ sets and attendees will be able to take an illustration made on the spot by Murcian artist, Carlos Morote, with them.

‘Sala de Tapas’ is the second event for this new season. Throughout this year, a total of ten bars and restaurants from the Regions of Murcia, Albacete, Alicante, and Almería, will visit the Sala de Catas once per month, in order to offer a brewery dinner comprised of their best dishes. The first venues confirmed are El trasiego' (Totana), Estirpe (Yecla); Mi Mare (Cartagena), Fizz (Mazarrón) and Cuatro Hojas (Almería). A unique opportunity to discover Levante's rich cuisine.        

Tickets for both events are available now on the Estrella de Levante website (http://www.estrelladelevante.es) for 30€ for ‘Sala de Tapas’ and 25€ for ‘Beer Sessions’.
