Free Damm Amber Lager's new campaign "Encasillados"

Free Damm Amber Lager's new campaign "Encasillados"

This is the first TV campaign for the latest launch of Damm's 0.0% beer

Free Damm Amber Lager, Damm's 0.0% toasted beer, launches "Encasillados", its first television campaign, directed by filmmaker David Vergés and starring actors Julio Manrique and Pere Arquillué.

In "Encasillados", Free Damm brings back Manrique and Arquillué, who previously starred in the Free Damm campaign in 2019; however, the setting and the moment in which the action takes place this time is very different. The two actors exchange the intensity of overlooking the city of Barcelona during filming for a moment of rest between scenes on board a sailing boat. A fact - as repeat stars of a Free Damm advert - that does not go unnoticed by the actors, who are comforted to realise that this is the new Free Damm Amber Lager, made with roasted malts.

A fresh and balanced 0.0% alcohol-free beer that fills the palate with toasty notes, with soft aromas of coffee and cocoa, and where the hops give it a mild bitterness. In Free Damm Amber Lager, the malts are obtained through a roasting process similar to coffee roasting. Just as with Free Damm, the aromas that are lost when the alcohol is removed in the brewing process of the new Free Damm Amber Lager are also recovered and reincorporated into the beer, resulting in a 0.0% toasted beer with all the nuances, with more aroma and better flavour.

The campaign can be found on television, social media and digital media.

Tasting notes

Amber-coloured beer with reddish reflections, bright and with a compact cream. The nose is very clean and expressive, with aromas of toast, coffee and cocoa. The palate is full-bodied, weighty and rich in toasty notes. A palate that combines sweetness and a herbal touch that balances with freshness. It has a smooth carbonic texture and a subtle bitter finish. An 0.0% alcohol-free beer that fills the palate with toasty notes.
