The iconic building hosted 228 events spanning culture, gastronomy and sports

The Old Estrella Damm Brewery continues to make a name for itself as a leading venue in Barcelona’s social and cultural scene. In 2025, the iconic building on 515 Rosselló street hosted a total of 228 events spanning culture, gastronomy and sports, attracting more than 106,000 attendees.

Throughout the year, the Old Estrella Damm Brewery once again hosted standout events such as BAM – Barcelona Acció Musical, held as part of the Mercè festival, and Sant Jordi Musical, featuring performances by artists and bands including Suu, Ginestà, Doctor Prats and Sexenni, to name but a few from the vibrant Catalan music scene.
The venue was also used for other cultural events such as the Gaudí Awards, the Sagrada Família Castellers Festival and the Sant Jordi Christmas Festival, alongside sporting and gastronomic events.

Guided visits to the Old Estrella Damm Brewery

As well as hosting landmark city events, the Old Estrella Damm Brewery continued to promote its guided tour programme, now firmly established as one of the city’s cultural leisure options. Located in an area that’s a big hit with tourists, next to the Sant Pau Modernist Complex and a stone’s throw from the Sagrada Família, the Old Brewery has become a point of interest for locals and national and international visitors alike.

Last year, 7,310 people took a tour around the facilities to discover how beer was brewed a century ago and to explore Damm’s historical archive. This space is home to one of Catalonia’s most significant private collections, comprising 148,000 objects that chronicle the company’s history and reflect the cultural, economic and social changes since it was founded in 1876.

During the visit, guests can also enjoy gastronomic experiences, including a guided tasting of Damm beers or a five-course pairing menu in one of the building’s historic spaces.

Since opening to the public in 2010, following a renovation, the Old Estrella Damm Brewery has become a hub of social and cultural activity in Barcelona, hosting concerts, festivals, local festivities, corporate events and gastronomic experiences. By supporting initiatives like these, Damm strengthens its commitment to Barcelona’s social and cultural life and to the local community, which it has maintained close ties with ever since it was founded.
